Abhishek Bachchan opens up on fighting COVID-19 alongside father Amitabh Bachchan last year, says he is a good roomie
Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan had contracted Coronavirus last year in July and were admitted to a hospital in Mumbai. Talking about their time together in the hospital, Abhishek called Big B “good roomie”.
In a live chat with a motivational speaker, Abhishek said his father was a good company to have and it was wonderful to wake up and go see his old father having that fighting spirit to get through this. The actor added that his energies were all directed towards him and him being better.
Elaborating further, junior Bachchan added that apart from being a father, Big B is also his great friend. As they had nothing else to do in the hospital there was some good banter that went on between them. According to Abhishek, Amitabh is a good roomie.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Abhishek will next be seen in ‘Bob Biswas’ which is a spin-off of Saswata Chatterjee’s character in Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Kahaani’. The movie also starred Vidya Balan in the lead role.
Big B, on the other hand, has his hands full with some interesting projects which include Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’, Nagraj Manjule’s ‘Jhund’, Rumy Jafri’s ‘Chehre’ and Vikas Bahl’s ‘Goodbye’.
