‘Shang-Chi and the legend of the Ten Rings’
Shang-Chi and the legend of the Ten Rings is the title of the new movie from the Marvel Cinematic Universe that hits theaters this weekend exclusively. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Shang-Chi, the film is inspired by the Marvel Comics character created by Steve Englehart and Jim Starlin in the early 1970s. The plot follows Shang-Chi (Simu Liu), a young man trained since childhood in the world of martial arts, with the aim that he can continue with the criminal legacy of his family. However, when Shang-Chi discovers her father’s past she decides to get away from him. Despite this, years later his quiet life in San Francisco is disrupted when a villain calling himself the Mandarin crosses his path.
‘After. Lost souls’
One year after After. In a thousand pieces, the couple formed by Tessa (Josephine Langford) and Hardin (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) returns to the big screen. On Lost souls, the third feature film inspired by Anna Todd’s novel saga, the relationship between Tessa and Hardin is back on the ropes, when the young woman is about to move to Seattle to start her new professional adventure. This sparks Hardin’s jealousy causing Tessa to rethink whether or not she should stick with him. As if that were not enough, Tessa will have to accept a confession from her father related to a series of secrets from her boy’s family. Will they bet on his love or will they decide that it is time to part their ways?
James Wan returns to the horror genre with Evil one, the ‘thriller’ starring Annabelle Wallis. The film tells the story of Madison, a young woman who lives tormented by the terrible nightmares she suffers every night. The problem comes when you start to suspect that those dreams could be more real than you imagine.
The French sci-fi thriller, The tube; the animation film for the whole family, The Olchis; the spanish dramatic comedy, Chavalas; the drama Nora, and the biographical documentary The metamorphosis of the birds are other novelties that you will be able to see from this weekend in Spanish cinemas.
