Now she has appeared in the film Dream Girl directed by the debutant director Raj Shandilya. In this film as well he has given a great performance and he has caught the viewer’s attention a lot with her voice.
Ayushman Khurana’s character is Karam Singh, a Mathura resident whose father Jagjit Singh is Anu Kapoor.
It should be noted that the father runs a casual goods shop, and his house is under the mortgage and he has several kinds of bank loans.
One of Karam Singh’s problems is that if he hears a girl’s voice clearly when she is an infant, he is able to recognize her to be a girl.
This is also the reason for his performing both the roles of Sita in Ramlila and Radha in Krishna Lila. The family earns money from his role and receives great publicity.
Although his father Jagjit Singh disapproves of his son’s talent, he refuses to accept it. A decent job is all that Karam Singh wants from him.
In order to get such a job, Karam Singh gets the acceptance letter to work in the call center of Chhotu (Rajesh Sharma) but his condition is that he needs to talk to the customer in such a way that both the guy and girl get along.
Having in mind the needs of the debtor and the household’s needs, he is willing to serve as the voice of worship.
Although his friends, Smiley (Manjot Singh) and Mahi (Nusrat Bharucha) are not privy to his secret, his secret is known to him, too.
The magic of Karam’s voice, who became a worshiper in the call center, captivates police personnel Rajpal (Vijay Raj), Mahina’s brother Mahendra (Abhishek Banerjee), Kishore Toto (Raj Bhansali), Roma (Nidhi Bisht), and his father Jagjit Singh.
There are no less than six men madly in love with her, and all of them are in a rush to marry her.
Raj Shandilya, who is directing the film for the first time, has taken the liberty of presenting a clean comedy. Being an acclaimed author, he has managed to include moments of humor and entertainment into the film.
In spite of that, the first half does not seem all that memorable. At the intermission, it seems like the story is not going anywhere. Things pick up speed in the second half when it emphasizes the comedy of errors in the pre-climax.
There are many places in the screenplay where Zol appears. Also, the director is in a great hurry to develop the Ayushman-Nusrat relationship.
At the end of the film, Raj Shandilya attempts to convey the message that even though he has lots of friends on social media, in real life, a man falls alone, but this message fails to touch people’s hearts.
The modulation of his voice and body language along with his worship of the ascended master will make you laugh a lot.
He has done justice to his role. Nusrat Bharuch did not get enough screen time to do anything that would make him stand out, though he did a good job on the screen.
In the supporting role, Annu Kapoor’s comic timing is to be commended, with Manjot Singh and Vijay Raj also providing opportunities to laugh.
In the other roles, Abhishek Banerjee, Nidhi Bisht, and Raj Bhansali along with the senior actress who had become a grandmother did a good job.
This film should definitely be seen in theaters if you enjoy watching comedy films. The choreography of these songs is also very commendable. We give the film 3 out of 5 stars.
