Hindi cinema musician Rajesh Roshan celebrates his birthday on 24 May. He is the famous Bollywood actor, brother of producer-director Rakesh Roshan, and uncle of Hrithik Roshan. Rajesh Roshan has given great music in many Bollywood films. He was born on 24 May 1955 in the house of famous musician Roshan. Roshan gave music in many great films. But when Rajesh Roshan was just 12 years old, he died.

After the father’s death, Rajesh Roshan’s mother began to study music from music composer Fayyaz Ahmad Khan. Rajesh used to go there with him and it was from here that music started coming into his life and he started to learn music properly from Fayyaz Saheb. Rajesh Roshan started his career in Bollywood as an assistant to the famous music composer duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal. He worked with him for about 5 years and understood all the nuances of music.

After that Rajesh Roshan decided to start his solo journey. He started his career as a musician in Bollywood with Mahmood’s film ‘Kunvara Bap’ in 1974, but Rajesh Roshan got his real identity from the 1975 film ‘Julie’. The songs of this film ‘Dil Kya Kare Jab Koi Koi’, ‘My Heart Is Beating’, ‘Yeh Raaten Nai Purani’ and ‘Julie I Love You are the first choice of music lovers even today.

Rajesh Roshan never looked back after the film ‘Julie’. He then went on to be the best in many brilliant films including ‘Swami’, ‘Desh Pradesh’, ‘Mr. Natwarlal’, ‘Kala Patthar’, ‘Khoonbhari Mang’, ‘Karan Arjun’, ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’, and ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ Gave music and also won many awards. Very few people will know that Rajesh Roshan was the person who gave Amitabh Bachchan the first opportunity to sing in the film.

Apart from acting, Amitabh Bachchan also performs singing. He has sung songs in many films, but he first sang the song in the film in the year 1979. His film ‘Mr. Natwarlal came out this year. Before this film, Amitabh Bachchan had never sung any song in a film.

For this film, Rajesh Roshan got the first song from Amitabh – ‘Mere Paas Aao Mere Friends!’ This song is still famous among music lovers and you will often hear it on the radio as well. After this, Amitabh has sung songs for many of Bachchan’s films.
