Late Bollywood actor Kishore Kumar’s bungalow will be converted into a museum, administration starts preparations
Late Bollywood actor Kishore Kumar’s bungalow in Khandwa will soon be made a museum. The administration has started preparations from its side regarding this. District Collector Anay Dwivedi has given instructions to constitute a public trust in this regard.
The family members of Kishore Kumar will also be included in this public trust. However, Arjun Kumar, the nephew of the late actor, has not given his approval to join the trust. An attempt will be made to talk to him again in this regard.
This museum will be built with the help of people. The administration has also given guidelines to the concerned officials in this regard. Earlier, SDM Mamta Khede had also inspected Kishore Kumar’s bungalow. On Monday, the District Collector held a meeting with the members of Kishore Cultural Prerna Manch.
During the meeting, the collector gave instructions to constitute a public trust to build a museum. He said that the family members of the late actor should also be included in this trust. He also said that what his family wants, should also be talked to him in this regard.
The proposal will be sent to the Department of Culture
Giving information, District Collector Dwivedi said that the proposal to build a museum will be sent to the Culture Department. In this regard, members of the Kishore Cultural Prerna Manch will meet Arjun Kumar, the nephew of the late actor and try to persuade him. Along with this, they will also be asked to join the trust so that later the benefits of the museum can reach their families directly.
