Directed by Jonathan Butterell and newcomer Max Harwood and veteran Richard E. Grant (Loki) lead the main cast of the film of which the ‘steaming’ platform has released a new trailer.
The movie follows Jamie New, a teenager with a different dream than young people his age: he wants to be ‘drag queen’. Achieving it will not be easy at 16 years old and living in Sheffield, England. But he knows that he is special, and with the help of his best friend he will try to fulfill his wish. To achieve this you will need a mentor and you will find him in Hugo Battersby, also known upstage as Loco Chanelle.
Jamie knows that he is going to become the center of attention and that he will have to face the prejudices of society, but he is determined to achieve his dream.
Everyone talks about Jamie counts in its cast with Sharon Horgan ((Disenchantment), Sarah Lancashire (Yesterday), Lauren Patel, Shobna Gulati (Doctor Who) and Dannie Pye (A very English scandal) complete the main cast of the film. Remember that the title will be available on Amazon Prime Video from September 17.
