How we write our guides
Each SoakScout spring guide is built from facts we can verify: the spring’s location, the operator’s published prices and hours, and licensed photography. Drafts are assembled with editorial software and every guide is reviewed by the regional editor before publication.
What we never do
- We never invent prices, hours, temperatures, or access details. Unverified facts are marked as unknown.
- We never copy text from other guides. Comparisons are fine; plagiarism is not.
- We never sell placement. A spring cannot pay to be listed, ranked higher, or reviewed better.
Photos
All photography is licensed for reuse (for example via Wikimedia Commons) and every image carries a photographer credit on the page where it appears.
Updates
Thermal springs change: operators adjust prices, roads close, pools get rebuilt. We re-check our most-visited guides regularly, and each guide shows when its facts were last checked. Readers can flag anything stale in the comments.
